We plan forever it seems and all of a sudden the trip is nearly over. Yesterday we said good bye to Inverness and made our way up the A9 to Dornoch, a beautiful seaside town where the Royal Dornoch Golf Club meanders alongside the coast for breathtaking views on every hole.
We enjoyed golf at its finest on the most northern golf course in Scotland. Our starter was in full kilt attire.
We spent the night close y at a little Bed and Breakfast, Highfield House, and enjoyed visiting with other travelers and our hosts Isla and Hugh.
It was a day of driving. From Dornoch down to Troon. We wound down through the Highlands, stopping only a few times before reaching our final destination.
Here’s the view at dinner.
